Pam Blacketer
Media Specialist
As an Air Force brat and military wife, Pam Blacketer claims hometowns all over the world. From Okinawa to Massachusetts, Nebraska, California, Hawaii, Alaska, Oklahoma and Texas, Pam has friends in many states.
Pam began her work life by teaching high school English and physical education. She then followed her own passion and began a career as a recreational director in civil service with the Air Force, planning unique programs to bring together people who were often far from home. After being chosen to join the Air Force’s top entertainment team, “Tops in Blue," Pam produced world-class shows that entertained troops and their families all over the globe.
At Hopkins & Associates, Pam utilizes her unique organizational skills and creative thinking to keep track of the media, use new technologies to monitor news coverage of her clients, and to produce events and media materials. She claims her background in the military and in entertainment as keys to running a successful media operation.
Pam received a bachelor of arts in HPER (health, physical education and recreation), with minors in journalism, English and French, and a teacher’s certificate from Oklahoma City University. She is the proud mother of two grown daughters, the wife of an aviation enthusiast and a pilot herself. She lives in Rockwall with her husband Mark and a herd of wildlife.
