When Suzanne Gentry Flodin’s phone rings, it is most likely a reporter, editor or producer calling on her expertise. With almost 20 years as a public relations professional, Suzanne has a well-earned reputation among media circles as someone to be counted on for a great story. She prides herself on being a resource to her media friends and a trusted public relations counselor who specializes in shaping her clients’ stories to meet the media’s needs and deadlines.
Suzanne has put this unique ability to work for Hopkins & Associates’ clients ranging from Uncle Julio’s to la Madeleine restaurants, Mapsco to Lexus, Toyota to TXU, and more. Suzanne believes everyone has a great story – and she relishes taking those client stories and turning them into key media placements.
Suzanne is a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in communications and an emphasis on public relations. She prides herself on being a life-long learner and takes continuing education courses from several well-known resources in the public relations and journalism fields. Suzanne also is a member of Press Club of Dallas.
A born story-teller, some of Suzanne’s most entertaining tales come from her own life. She loves to travel and has visited 47 of our nation’s 50 states and several other countries. With her husband, a former fighter pilot, Suzanne hopes to show their young son Riley every state capital. She often cheers on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, from her favorite spot in the country, her family’s beach house on Puget Sound -- deep in Seattle Seahawks country.
